Vitality testing with PacEndo Vital-Ice is an essential part of endodontic diagnosis when used alongside a comprehensive dental examination and radiographic evaluation. By stimulating the nerve endings of the pulp with a cold spray, clinicians can effectively assess tooth vitality.
The results help determine the presence of blood flow within the tooth prior to treatment. Please note that pain-relief medications may produce false-positive vitality readings, and adjacent metal restorations may also influence cold test responses.
