Recommended for use on hard non-porous surfaces in hospitals, dental offices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), endoscopy centers, isolation areas, neonatal intensive care units (NICU), skilled nursing facilities, home healthcare services, long-term care, schools, emergency vehicles, physicians' offices and child care facilities. Also recommended for use on hard non-porous surfaces of laboratory equipment and surfaces, toys (plastic or hard non-porous), operating room tables and lights, dental impression trays, physical therapy (PT) equipment surfaces, patient support equipment, exterior surfaces of ultrasound machines, exterior surfaces of dialysis machines, exterior surfaces of IV pumps, external surfaces of glucometers, ambulence equipment surfaces, keyboards, desktops and other critical care areas where control of cross contamination between hard non-porous treated surfaces is important.
CaviWipes Disinfecting Towelettes are non-woven disposable towelettes pre-saturated with CaviCide. They are recommended for use on hard non-porous surfaces in hospitals, dental offices, laboratores, clinics, ophthalmic offices, and bathrooms. CaviWipes are effective agains the following microorganisms on hard, non-porous surfaces when used as directed:
Bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Multidrug-Resistant Bacteria: Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), Staphylococcus aureus with reduced susceptibility to vancomycin.
Mycobacterium: Mycobacterium tuberculosis var: bovis (BCG)**
Mold, Fungi: Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
Viruses: Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1*, Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2*, Duck Hepatitis Virus Surrogate for Hepatitis B Virus (HBV)*, Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus, Surrogate for Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)*, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1)*. Influenza A2 Virus*.
For use as a disinfectant:
Use one CaviWipes towelette to completely preclean surface of all gross debris.
Use a second towelette to thoroughly wet the surface. Repeated use of product may be required to ensure that the surface remains visibly wet for 2 minutes at room temperature.
